As a redhead I’ve always had an affinity to the full spectrum of the fall color pallet! I love the weather. The sound of crunching leaves under your feet. The wardrobe choices of a big sweater and jeans, and simply enjoying a cool evening walk. I just love fall!

In the last several years because of my job, I haven’t had much of an opportunity or a place to be able to decorate for fall, until this year! I’m loving the ability to allow my creative juices to flow!

So, I was recently in Pottery Barn and fell in love with their fall table display.

I love the richness and fullness of the table. It looks so warm and inviting. I was inspired to recreate the same look in my own home.

I am currently living at home with my parents and therefore have the advantage of using some of my mother’s decorative items. I did purchase a few small floral pieces but really I was able to just use items we had a round the house. Take a look at how my Pottery Barn inspired table turned out.
I’m pretty excited about it

I was able to pick up some fall floral items from our local arts & crafts store 60% off! I love when I can get a deal. I didn’t use all of the items in my centerpiece, but with the leftover flowers I was able to make some small arrangements to put around the house.

This pumpkin tea pot was actually something my mom and I found at a local thrift store. It was a six piece set for less than $10! A great find for our table!

I love our dinning room table! It’s so warm and inviting. I can’t wait until we can get all our family around the table and enjoy our Thanksgiving meal!  As you can see it doesn’t take much to create the same rich look that was in Pottery Barn. So get creative. Check out your local arts & craft stores, look around your house and let those creative juices flow! Happy Fall(ing)!!
