Dude. I was about to title this post "february faves".... how is it that we are THREE MONTHS+ in to 2015 already!?!?!
Anyways, here are a few things that we have been using and loving throughout MARCH (and the first part of April ;)!!
Maybelline | master conceal | 01 fair
I picked up this baby along with my next item on a BOGO 50% off sale at Ulta. I hadn't heard anything about it, but I was needing a new under-eye concealer/highlighter and was willing to give it a try! Love. It. I purchased the color 01 Fair so that it would be lighter than my foundation to use to brighten my under-eye + inner corner + brow bone. This concealer is full coverage and has a very natural finish. I use my fingertips to dab it underneath my eye, and it really looks flawless. Like always, I set it with a powder (Rimmel Stay Matte!) and it lasts me ALL DAY.
Maybelline | master hi-light - blush | 30 coral
Oh. My. Word. Why did it take me this long to purchase this beauty!? I remember finding a coupon for these hi-lighting blushes in a magazine like, ages ago. I was going to buy it back then, but for some reason never did. I have been eyeing them up though. FINALLY. I'm a sucker for anything coral, so that is the one I purchased. This blush just brightens up your cheekbone and gives you an illuminating glow.. like you've been relaxing in the sun all day at your favorite beach and you walked away with the most perfect tan. (Can you tell I'm DYING to be in Ocean City, Maryland? Come on June!!!) I honestly believe ANYONE can use this blush. It is gorgeous. I'm willing to say it is my favorite blush I've ever used.
As you know, I'm a legging wearer. Lately I've become a little "interested" in baseball tees more than usual. I think I'll blame Trysta (my sister!). Anyways, this combo has become my new uniform. It's been kind of fun to try and dress them up a bit.. add a gold statement necklace, put on some blingy sandals, trade the leggings for some jeans, etc. Just like that I'm able to go from "comfortable mom" to "acceptable to leave the house mom".
