Blonde Sexy Hair | Sulfate-Free Bright Blonde Shampoo + Conditioner
LADIES. As a hairstylist I shouldn't admit this. I use drugstore products. I mean, obviously, since I've recommended some to you! There are some really great brands out there that really do work. I'm definitely not dissing the good ole Loreal, Garnier, Aussie, etc. In fact, I really do like those. (I will never recommend something that I don't really like.)
BUT. Salon brand products (and not the ones you can purchase in the aisles of Walmart, Target, Walgreens, etc) are just outstanding. There's so much to say about the difference between the Redken you buy at CVS and the Redken you buy in a salon or from a stylist, BUT I will save that for another time (if you're interested).
I forgot what a difference it makes to use true Salon-worthy shampoo + conditioner. This stuff is the bomb. I've recently doused my hair in bleach... NOT the greatest thing for it. After using the Blonde Sexy Hair, my hair feels 100% BETTER than even BEFORE I started going lighter. Not to mention, it smells AMAZING. My husband has even commented on it multiple times. The shampoo is purple, which helps tone down yellow + brassiness. And the conditioner is targeted at blondes as well, to help preserve and brighten the vibrancy of your color.
I understand that it is more expensive to purchase products from a salon, and I'm not condemning you if you buy the same stuff from Walmart. I'm just saying, you WILL notice a difference. So, blondies, if you're looking for a new shampoo + conditioner... this is it.
Bumble + Bumble | Repair Blow Dry
I got a little sample size (0.5 oz) of this stuff in my Ipsy bag. I've used it 10+ times and its AWESOME! I don't do a ton of blow-drying, because my hair is so thick and I'm lazy, but when I do I for sure use some type of heat protectant. This is a "serum-in-crème" used to "repair hair with every blow dry." A serum (unlike an oil) won't fry your hair when heat is applied. Think of it as a very concentrated conditioner - that also protects your luscious locks! I apply about a pea-sized amount to the ends of my hair after I've let it air dry for a bit. Then, the heat from the hair dryer opens the shaft of the hair allowing the serum to really get in there. As your hair cools, the cuticle closes and locks in the moisture, leaving your hair soft and healthy!
NYX | Butter Gloss - Vanilla Cream Pie
All of a sudden without even realizing it, I've gone a bit lip crazy. I don't know if because it's winter and my lips are always dry or what. But I have kept about 5 different lip products in my purse over the last few months, and this one is my favorite. It feels excellent. It is lightweight with great color pay off. And I am just so thankful that it doesn't feel like tar, ya know?! Best of all, it's only $5!
e.l.f. | Studio HD Blush - Headliner
This blush is SO rich and creamy, which is excellent for dry skin in winter months. And you wouldn't believe the color payoff! Its velvety soft, lightweight yet highly pigmented color is legitimately long-lasting for all day wear. Best of all, it's three bucks! And I believe I purchased mine even cheaper because it was on sale at Kmart! Yay!!!
